BioFire® Respiratory Panel 2.1 is a real-time, reverse transcriptase polymerase chain
reaction (RT-PCR) test designed to simultaneously identify nucleic acids from 22 different
viruses and bacteria associated with respiratory tract infection, including SARSCoV-2, from a
single nasopharyngeal swab (NPS) specimen. Results: Typically results are available within 45
minutes from time cartridge is placed in the module. However, turnaround time may vary due to
high surge in patient testing.
Cobas® Liat® System assay uses real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction
(RT-PCR) technology to rapidly detect and differentiate between SARS-CoV-2, influenza A,
and influenza B viruses from nasopharyngeal and nasal swabs. Results: Typically results are
available within 15 minutes from time cartridge is placed in the module. However, turnaround
time may vary due to high surge in patient testing.
We will accept your insurance carrier’s payment. No co-payment, deductible or
co-insurance will be billed to the patient as per the CARES Act for COVID-19 testing only.
