She is a local graduate of Martin High school, attended Laredo Junior College and Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX.
From 1986 – 1997 she worked in Laredo in media communications, the healthcare industry and private business sector. In 1997 she married Sebastian T. Padron, MD and moved to San Antonio, Texas where she currently resides with her husband and son Stefan.
Since 1997, she has served as Medical Practice Manager, Officer of Cumex Investment Partners and Pan American Southwest Investment Group. From 2007 – 2010, she joined one of the largest emergency medicine companies recruiting physicians in the US, Mexico and Puerto Rico; all while setting up her own physician Recruitment Company. Grace was instrumental in recruiting emergency medicine physicians, internal medicine specialists, pulmonologist, infectious disease and interventional cardiologists to Laredo.
In 2011, Grace joined Stat Emergency Center’s founding fathers in a new venture in the development and management of independent freestanding emergency room models.
In April 2014, ground broke to start building the First Freestanding Emergency Center in Laredo, TX. Stat Emergency Center-North was officially licensed on December 22, 2014 and on November 7, 2015, Stat Emergency Center-South opened its doors. Grace is currently involved in the development and construction of Stat Emergency Center’s third facility in Eagle Pass, TX.
In October 2014, she was named Director of Operations for STAT ER Laredo and in July 2015, she was appointed as Secretary to the Governing Board of Stat Emergency Centers.
