With the help of Dr. Adolfo Aldape, STAT Emergency Center is bringing fast and efficient new world medicine wrapped in old world personal style care …
Specializing in internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Aldape’s main goal is to provide personalized care to his patients. Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, he later moved on to Ohio State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Bio Chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, before completing his residency at the University of Miami, Florida. He later served as Chief Resident in 2000 and Chief of Staff at Laredo Medical Center in 2007.
Multiple childhood injuries are what drove him to make the decision of becoming a physician. At one point in his life, he wanted to be the team doctor for the Dallas Cowboys. Dr. Aldape states that the happiest part of his career thus far was when he had the opportunity of caring for a two day old and 105 year old on the same day! Since then he was attracted to a profession that cares for others. His interests range from golfing to traveling in his RV. With a down to earth personalized style, his favorite foods are pizza and wings, and when it comes to books, the famous Christmas classic of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is one of his favorites.
He firmly believes that STAT provides an essential gap in medical services to working class families that need quick and efficient medical aid. He states; “Due to a lack of primary care doctors, STAT provides urgent and emergent health care to patients and assists local primary care doctors with their medical mission.” As such, his patients can take comfort in knowing that a knowledgeable physician is here for them.
